Energy Bars

On today’s podcast we shared a recipe for energy bars. You can mix up this recipe and and make it exactly what you like.  You can take it for lunch, eat it as an after school snack or a snack whenever!! Tell me what you used!!

Energy Bars

1 cup of medjool dates (or dried fruit of your choice)

1 cup of nuts (raw and unsalted are best – but use whatever you would like – almonds, walnuts, pecans, peanuts, etc.)

1 cup of add-ins (coconut, maple syrup, honey, etc.)

Place all the ingredients in the blender or food processor.  Blend until smooth.  Place in a parchment paper (or wax paper) lined pan.  Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.  Cut into bars and enjoy!!
