Banana Ice Cream

Welcome back to episode #12 of our podcast.  Today we shared a recipe for Banana Ice Cream.  Yes, it’s healthy banana ice cream, but it’s so good!! I hope you give it a try!!  You only need 1 ingredient, bananas!!

Serving Size: 1

1 1/2 frozen banana (cut in half or sliced – have an adult help you)

Optional:

Milk (almond, soy, coconut, seed milk, cow’s milk, etc.)

Add-ins: Strawberries, chocolate chips, cocoa powder

Put frozen bananas in the blender (or food processor) and blend until smooth.

Depending on your blender or food processor you will need to add the milk by tablespoon to help the frozen bananas blend.  Be careful how much you add, you want to assist the blending process not make it soupy.

Add in strawberries or cocoa powder half-way through blending. Add the chocolate chips when you have completed the ice cream.

Hope you enjoy it!!! Tell me how you liked it.  What did you add in?   Will you try it again?

Love ya!!

Liz

P.S. For all those curious minds wondering what a Champion Juicer looks like (this actually looks exactly like the one we had):
